Song and Lyrics: Van Morrison

One Saturday night a few years ago, my wife and I were sitting in front of the screen watching the 2007 film August Rush. In the film, a small musical genius plays the song Moondance by Van Morrison. "That's right," I thought; "It's a great song." Went online and found one arrangement for a guitar. Learned a part of it, but never finished properly.
The other day I decided it was time to finish the job. Found a few arrangements of the song and combined two of them into the one I decided to learn. If I eventually manage to play the song decently, I'll put a video recording of the playing with this article.
The song Moondance by North Irish musician Van Morrison was released in 1970 and was included on his album of the same name. The album is extremely good and reached number 65 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The song itself reached number 224 of the best songs of all time. Morrison has not made a habit of gasping about his work. About the song Moondance, he has said nothing but that it was written on saxophone.
