Tales from our cabin - 5. - 7. August 2022
My wife and I went to Brautarlækur the first weekend in August with Imba and Kristján. On Saturday we drove over two moors, Holtavörðuheiði and Laxárdalsheiði to fish on the third moor, Hólmsheiði. One of the lakes on the moor Hólmsheiði is called Gullhamarsvatn. We walked between the lakes on the moor until we reached that lake. Fished for a while and went back to our cabin with nine trouts.
